Let’s have a look at some structures that we use in Spanish to talk about the weather:

En Barcelonahacemucho
bastante
un poco de
frío
calor
sol
viento

En Barcelona hace mucho calor. En Barcelona hace bastante viento.
In Barcelona it’s very hot. In Barcelona it’s very windy.

We have another structure to talk about the weather: 

En Barcelonallueve
nieve
mucho
bastante
un poco

En Barcelona llueve mucho.
In Barcelona it is raining a lot. 

We can also say:

Hacebuen
mal
tiempo

Hace buen tiempo, hace mal tiempo. 
The weather is good, the weather is bad.
