Weather vocabulary
Let’s have a look at some structures that we use in Spanish to talk about the weather:
| En Barcelona | hace | mucho bastante un poco de | frío calor sol viento |
En Barcelona hace mucho calor. En Barcelona hace bastante viento.
In Barcelona it’s very hot. In Barcelona it’s very windy.
We have another structure to talk about the weather:
| En Barcelona | llueve nieve | mucho bastante un poco |
En Barcelona llueve mucho.
In Barcelona it is raining a lot.
We can also say:
| Hace | buen mal | tiempo |
Hace buen tiempo, hace mal tiempo.
The weather is good, the weather is bad.
